Nagano Station


Nagano Station (長野駅) is located in Nagano city in Nagano prefecture. It is the biggest terminal station in Nagano prefecture.

Nagano Station is the last stop of Asama train of Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo. And, both Kagayaki trains and Hakutaka trains stop at Nagano Station.

Zenkoji, a buddhist temple, is located in Nagano city. Therefore, tourists visit Zenkoji use Nagano Station. Zenkoji can be accessed by bus from Nagano Station.

In winter, there are many skiers/snowborders who visit Hakuba ski area since there are express buses from Nagano Station to Hakuba area.

There is a commercial facility at Nagano Station. The commercial facility, Midori Nagano, has shops, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir and bento box shops.

There is a department store, Nagano Tokyu, in front of Nagano Station. At the department store, there are many fashion stores, restaurants, bento box shops, and more.
