Shinagawa Station
Shinagawa Station (品川駅) is located in Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is one of the 3 Shinkansen Station in Tokyo.
This station is popular for people from the south area of Tokyo who take Tokaido Shinkansen. For example, people in Shibuya use Shinagawa Station to take Tokaido Shinkansen as Shinagawa Station is closer to Shibuya than Tokyo Station.
Also, people from Haneda International Airport use Shinagawa Station as it is easier to access to Shinagawa Station than Tokyo Station from Haneda International Airport.
Even though Shinagawa Station is close to Tokyo Station, only Tokaido Shinkansen stops at Shinagawa Station. Tohoku, Yamagata, Akita, Joetsu, Hokuriku, and Hokkaido Shinkansen do not stop at Shinagawa Station.

Train tickets are required to access to ecute as it is located inside of the gates. ecute Shinagawa has 2 floors with shops, such as sweets, bakeries, delicatessen, and bento. It can be used to get something to eat at Shinaksen.
There is also another commercial facility, atre Shinagawa, located at the station building. It is located outside of the station gates. atre Shinagawa has shops, restaurants, and a grocery store.
